The test procedures we perform for our pharmacy clients follow the <USP 797/800> standards. This testing includes viable air and surface sampling, particle count testing, HEPA filter integrity testing, visual smoke analysis, ISO Class 5 BSC and LFB certifications, room pressure differentials and air exchange rates.

Our cleanroom certification test procedures follow the ISO 14644 standards to determine air cleanliness by particle concentration.This is performed using a light scattering (discrete) airborne particle counter (LSAPC). We document the room pressure differentials between the ISO classified rooms, perform viable air and surface sampling, calculate air exchange rates, test HEPA filter integrity and perform visual smoke analysis.

Following the NSF 49 standards, we assure the BSC meets all the primary certification requirements, which include downflow and inflow velocity, HEPA filter integrity test, airflow smoke patterns, as well as UV light intensity and electrical testing. We also offer full service repair including gas decontamination and replacement of motor, HEPA filter and electrical components.

This primary laboratory safety device is critical to workers safety. We not only evaluate the hood itself following ASHRAE standards, but also the lab space the hood is located in. Room cross drafts, face velocity measurements and visual smoke testing, are all analyzed when evaluating the hoods performance.
